It is all about you. The focus of my photography is all about you, your loved ones, and the compelling images that you want to preserve and treasure all your life. Whether it is a wedding, an event or a portrait, I am there to record your most important and precious moments.
My name is 'Zanne Clark and as a professional photographer, I am an active member in PPA, WPPI and NAPP. I became interested in photography by documenting the evolution of my own garden at Carolina Cottage in Sonoma. Reflecting my South Carolina roots, I created a Southern garden with forty-one rose bushes, ten azalea bushes and one stately dogwood tree. This garden project led to my love of the camera and to creative expression and joy through photography.
A 25-year Sonoma resident, I trained with photographer Ron Zak, a Fulbright scholar, well known in Sonoma Valley for his humorous posters for the annual Sonoma Valley wine auction. I also took a class in portrait photography with Joyce Wilson at the Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA. Recently I went to Washington, DC for a week to study with Clay Blackmore, one of the top photographers in this country, known for his posing techniques for bringing out the best of his subjects. Active in my community, I have served on the boards of KQED, the Foundation for San Francisco Architectural Heritage and the Sonoma League for Historic Preservation.
With a MBA degree, I understand the importance of customer service, showing up on time and delivering the results as promised. I thrive to connect with my clients so it is a win-win outcome for all. My business experience which taught me discipline and concentration is balanced with a sensitivity and a strong eye for creative expression. I photograph both color and black and white images with a Canon 5D digital camera in both formal/traditional and photojournalistic styles. With artistry and skill, my goal is to record your story as you would like it to be told.
